Therapist

Modupe (Ms. O) is an ASHA-certified speech-language pathologist licensed in Illinois. She earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Southern Illinois University Carbondale (SIUC). She began her career in Houston, Texas in 2019 and has since provided speech and language services to children in both in-person and virtual settings.

Since 2020, Ms. O has worked in school settings across Houston ISD and Lake County, Illinois, serving students from preschool through middle school. Her clinical experience includes supporting children with autism, Down syndrome, ADHD, speech and language impairments, learning disabilities, hearing impairments, and those who use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).

Ms. O is an NLA Certified Clinician, having completed the Meaningful Speech course, and she specializes in supporting gestalt language processors. She integrates play-based therapy, AAC, and child-led intervention strategies, valuing connection over compliance as the foundation of her work.

Outside of work and life as a mom, she enjoys listening to music, watching movies, theater, and the occasional Netflix binge. She also likes exploring fun new restaurants and watching tarot readings on YouTube.

She currently works full time in a school setting and part time at PI.
