Alex grew up in San Antonio, Texas, and later moved to Lake Forest as a teenager. She currently resides in Grayslake with her daughter and husband. Alex holds a Bachelor's degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Indiana University-Bloomington and a Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Akron. With experience in both educational and private practice settings, Alex has worked with children and adults across a wide range of ages. Her clinical passions include feeding therapy, myofunctional therapy, and articulation therapy. She is dedicated to developing functional therapy strategies that integrate into a child’s daily life and focus on addressing the root causes of speech and language impairments. Alex believes that the best learning happens through play and is always eager to explore new techniques and approaches to therapy. Alex enjoys going for runs, reading, Taylor Swift, and spending time with her family and friends.
