She enjoys learning from him every single day and he brings her lots of smiles, giggles and joy!
Melissa started her career in Secondary Finance, even in her earlier years, she knew she wanted to help others. She now has over 10 years experience specifically specializing with children with disabilities and guidance for parents understanding their insurance and billing. Giving information & encouragement to ease any stresses they may be feeling.
Melissa practices mindfulness and being gracious everyday for the good and the bad, because she is a true believer that everything happens for a reason and a purpose and is always looking to use what she's learning to better help others. She takes the time to slow down and enjoy the simplicity in life and loves looking for the synchronicities. Sharing kindness with others is very important to her because you never know what someone else's struggles are.
When Melissa is not at Pediatric Interactions, she enjoys reading, learning, being an advocate for children's literacy, enjoying music, hiking, teaching herself photography, while searching for "hidden gems" located in Illinois and Wisconsin. She also just received her Reiki I practitioner certification, she meditates daily and has been scuba certified for 26 years letting her travel and experience different cultures all over the world, on land and below.
