Anne was born and raised right here in Lake County. She attended Illinois Wesleyan for undergrad where she studied in vocal performance (and is now offering voice lessons at Pediatric Interactions). She then moved to Maryland where she attended graduate school for Speech Language Pathology. She has a passion for working with children on the Autism spectrum, voice disorders and articulation delays. She has been trained in Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets (PROMPT) and Language Acquisition through Motor Planning (LAMP). She has also attended courses about feeding and sensory integration. When she's not at work she is busy reading 50 books a year, cooking, doing yoga and playing with her cat, Poppy. Anne is happy to be part of the PI family and looks forward to continue to learn from and support the families she works with.
